Is Reading Reading Books a sole source provider?

Yes, RR Books is a sole source of all our book sets. To request a copy of our sole source letter, please email service@rrbooks.com or call us at 757.329.4224.

How can I obtain a copy of your W-9?

To request a copy of our W-9, please email service@rrbooks.com or call us at 757.329.4224. Please indicate whether you would like for us to send the W-9 via email, fax or postal mail.

Are you an "Approved Vendor"?

RR Books is on numerous approved vendor lists. To find out if we are on yours, please email service@rrbooks.com or call us at 757.329.4224.

Do you accept purchase orders?

Yes! To place a purchase order, please first obtain a quote and reference the quote number on the purchase order. 

To secure a quote, please add items to the cart.  Then view the cart and click on the "Get Quote" at the bottom of the screen. Quotes will be emailed within 24 hours (Mon-Fri), often times much sooner.

Do you accept credit cards?

Absolutely!
We accept all major credit cards.
You are welcome to order online or call 757.329.4224 to pay by credit card.

If you'd like to make a payment on an order that has already been placed, please email service@rrbooks.com for a link for payment.

What are your shipping costs?

Shipping costs are based on the total order amount:

Do you charge sales tax?

We collect sales tax for Pennsylvania and Virginia residents. Schools in Virginia and Pennsylvania should include a copy of their tax exemption certificate when ordering. Prior to placing an order online, please email service@rrbooks.com.

What are the book levels?

Most books have a guided reading level indicated in the inside back cover. To request our current book list, please email service@rrbooks.com

How are the books leveled?

The letter levels are official Fountas and Pinnell ® book levels. The numeric levels are official Reading Recovery ® Book levels or their equivalent.

Are the books on the Reading Recovery ® Booklist?

We have over 275 books included on the Reading Recovery ® Council of North America Booklist.

Are the books included in the Fountas and Pinnell ® Leveled Book database?

We have over 345 books included in the Fountas and Pinnell ® Leveled Book database.

How come some of the letter and number levels don’t correlate?

We are pleased to have many of our titles officially leveled with Fountas & Pinnell Text Level Gradients as well as Reading Recovery® Council of North America Book Levels. As these two organizations are mutually exclusive, the levels do not always correspond.

What is the word count for each book?

Word counts are located on the inside back cover of each book.
